What is the best way to improve my quality of life? for example relaxation techniques?
JJ asked:
I want to feel more relaxted and be able to sleep better at night.
Is there any good relaxation DVDs out there that can teach me how to relax and release all my stress from a long work day?

Yoga: for Stress Relief with Barbara Benagh.
I bought it a few months age to help with a pulle dmuscle in my hips and i have found it helps with every aspect of stress relief and relaxation!
See stress at. (.net.nz/~shaneris) on page 7.
Nature, the kind you like, they have forest sounds (can be alittle distracting), seasides, waterfalls, birds etc.
Then set a special place in your home, a room or partician, maybe a closet you don’t use that you do not enter except for your relaxtion time.
Keep it clean, no debri except for the music, a pillow to sit on and maybe a flower with vase or some type of water bowl with rocks, any nature item will help. One that may bring out alittle scent that will stir your inner self.
then turn on the tape, make sure no other noises can bother you and think of positive ideas that you need to concentrate on (perhaps a problem you need to solve. Clear your mind and just listen to the tape, you will forget your environment, slowly bend your thoughts to your positive energy.
Helpful hint. Never expect miracles until you can control your sessions. Best way to start is when you start thinking negative thoughts, stop. thank your area and slowly leave with positive notion that the next time will be better.
Wait a day or so and try again. This routine will get stronger until you can stay in your area as long as you wish.
if you have a time limit you may need someone to acknowledge your time is up or wait until you have nothing to do a few hours after or you will not concentrate well.
