What is a legal perscription drug for relaxation for people that have over hyperness?

    Ritalin is just one of hundreds out there.

    The best one is is a tablet called restil. Its not exactly a sleeping tablet but its one which helps u ease hypertension. Hypertension and high blood pressure are brothers in arms. So you may also consider tablets like Acedip, Tenormin or Ateon.

    It depends on the reason that you are hyper. Are you in a manic state because of Bi Polar disorder? If so then a mood stabilizer like serequil is used. If you are hyper because of anxiety, then usually they prescribe some sort of benzodiapine like valium or xanex to slow down the central nervous system. If you are hyper because of ADHD, then usually stimulants such as ritalin or amphetamines are prescribed. If you are just hyper because you are happy, or you drank too much caffeine, then just wait it out. You will calm down eventually.
