I’m after techniques that will help me dea with negative emotions that I often feel. I do not let them interfere with my every day life, however I do often feel angry or sad and can feel it very extremely at times. Is there a technique - a form of meditation, perhaps - that will help dissipate these spirals? Thanks.

exercising helps tremendously (even just going for a walk or bike ride). Deep breathes. Doing fun and relaxing things. Watching your favorite movie, hanging out with friends, eating your favorite foods. Laughing. Enjoying life the most you can!!!!

There are several relaxation techniques available to you. The trickiest part will be to find what suits your personality and schedule. Have you ever tried carrying a small object in your pocket (e.g., a rock or an eraser). Whenever you feel anger or any other extreme emotions, simply squeeze that object and send all of your anger (or other emotion) to the object and away from you.
