If my bird is not feeling well, is it good to let him listen to relaxation music at a small volume?

Or is it better with no music at all?

I know that animals like classical, relaxation or mellow music, but what if they’re sick or not feeling well, like my cockatiel?

usually if a bird is sick they like to sit quietly ,,and sleep most of the time,,speak gently to him to reasure him that you are there if he needs you,,and if he carries on being unwell please take him to the vets,,,good luck,,,,,,,hope he feels better soon,,,,,,,,,

Yes, if he likes it by all means play it. Talk to him softly lots and be with him as much as you can if he’s tame.

Certainly take him to an avian vet if you havn’t already, death with sick birds strikes very suddenly. They don’t get better on their own.
All the birds in my aviary got a virus, all the canaries died, it was very sad. My pet white budgie was on the brink of death (he couldn’t even move) when we got him to an avian vet. He stayed in a fishtank under a heatlamp for about a week with antibiotics, and when we got him back he was good as new! It was amazing! The green one also recovered. I lost a violet though.

But yes, I would say pay the music for him.

    Good luck!

if your bird looks like it has a serious problem go check the vet,
but if its not a big problem etc. music is fine.
without music or sound birds can produce stress./

How do you know its not feeling well ? did it tell you or may be its just fed up with its company. As mentioned before if the bird is ill it will fluff up on the cage bottom and if not treated by a vet die. if its just quiet may be it need a quite time or try giving it its favorite treat and it may liven up. allan

you will see if your bird is not looking good then its most likely
got MITES,if he/she has feathers coming off from around the
eyes and has he/her head tucked under the wing, then you
have a very sick bird, you can get some mite lice spray
and put some on the back of the head and within 3-4 days
so dont worry he/she will come good.
i hope that stops you from worring, all the bestbudgie lover
